Your privacy is important to us. HCZ is committed to respecting the privacy of online visitors and pledges its best efforts to that end. Our Web site is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. Our site logs do generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our sites. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff to provide better service to the public.
Credit Card Information
Harlem Children’s Zone has contracted the services of a banking partner to process credit card donations submitted online. Our banking partner’s secured server encrypts your credit card information so that is may be safely transmitted over the Web. Your credit card information will not be released by Harlem Children’s Zone or its banking party to any other party
What information do we collect? How do we use it?
When you request information about HCZ or give a donation, we require you to give us contact information (name, e-mail and address). We may use this information to send you information about HCZ programs, events or annual fundraising appeals. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. We do not participate in telemarketing.
To review your personal information, to opt out of future mailings, or to inquire about our privacy policy, please contact mlipp@hcz.org.
HCZ may release personal information under the following circumstances:
1. Where release is required by law or regulation or is requested
by a government agency;
2. Where our records indicate that a person may be engaged in
fraudulent activity or other deceptive practices that a government agency
should be made aware of; or
3. To appropriate persons, if a person's communication suggests
possible harm to others.
Note to Parents
We are pleased when young people visit the HCZ Web site to learn more about our organization. HCZ does not knowingly solicit data from children and does not knowingly market to children.
